Medieval Valley Terrain Map

About this pack

A custom terrain map for medieval survival, towny and roleplay servers. A river valley sits in a ring of mountains. The river leaves a gorge, fills a big lake under a banded cliff plateau, then runs south under a stone bridge. A ruined watchtower stands on a hill to the west. East of the bridge we left a flat village site with marked plots, so you can build your own town on it.

What you get

• 448 x 448 blocks of sculpted terrain with smooth height blending, layered rock bands in every cliff and cut edge, and snow on the highest peaks.
• North mountain range with a river gorge. A waterfall drops from a high mountain tarn into the head of the river.
• Big lake with sand and gravel shores, reeds, lily pads and a small wooden jetty.
• Two-tier cliff plateau on the east side, with two waterfalls falling into the lake.
• Two-arch stone bridge with parapets, lantern posts and a pier with cutwaters.
• Ruined stone watchtower on a hill. You can walk in: a ground floor, a wooden upper floor and a roof platform with a brazier, linked by two straight stairs. One corner has fallen in.
• Flat village site (about 64 x 56) at the crossroads: a well, 4 lamp posts, a notice board, a pile of building materials and 4 plots marked with corner stones.
• Roads link everything. A mountain trail climbs to a summit cairn, and a second trail climbs the plateau to a falls overlook.
• Forests of custom oak, birch and spruce trees, plus open meadows with flowers, rocks and fallen logs.
• Every road, the bridge, the tower floors, the plots, the summit and the overlook can be reached on foot from spawn. Stairs lead level onto each floor and nothing floats.
