Red Mesa Survival Spawn

About this pack

A survival and SMP server spawn: a walled frontier town on a floating red mesa. Players spawn in a market square with a well and nine shop stalls. A domed bell tower stands at the end of the main street, and whitewashed houses, a saloon, a smithy and a traders' camp fill the town inside its walls. Every building has a real inside you can walk.

What you get

• One floating red mesa island, 211 x 185 blocks, with terracotta cliffs, banded rock and a rocky underside.
• Spawn market square with a stone well, 6 market stalls round it and 3 vendor counters (smith, fruit and cloth) for shop NPCs.
• Octagonal bell tower with a dome and a flag, 5 walkable storeys joined by stairs.
• Saloon hall with tables, benches, barrels and candles, and a smithy hall with a hearth, a smithing table and a grindstone.
• 20 houses and cottages with furnished rooms: whitewashed terracotta walls, spruce roofs, dark oak trim.
• Town wall with gate towers where the streets leave town.
• Traders' camp at the edge: 3 tents and 2 merchant wagons.
• Graded streets with lamps, acacia and dead trees, rocks and dry plants on the red sand.
• Coordinates.txt: spawn, every shop spot, the saloon, smithy, bell tower floors and the camp.
• Optional vanilla data pack: waving flags and swaying lanterns.
• Walk tested: every floor, room and stair top is reachable from spawn on foot, stairs lead level onto each floor and nothing floats.
