Gladiator Colosseum Arenas

About this pack

Eight Roman duel arenas and two King of the Hill maps for PvP servers, all in one world. Most are amphitheatres: a sand floor ringed by a podium wall with red banners and barred gates, three rows of stone seats and a walkway at the top with an emperor's box. The rest are a temple, a forum in ruins and a walled courtyard. Each map floats on its own island in the void, and both halves of every arena match.

What you get

• 8 duel arenas and 2 KOTH maps in one Java world, with one .schem per map.
• 5 amphitheatres: Grand Amphitheatre, Circus Maximus, Circus Spina (octagon), Ludus Yard (square) and Hall of Champions.
• Floor plans differ: a pillar ring round a stepped dais, a long spina with obelisks, L walls and broken columns, or statues round a fountain.
• Temple of Mars (diamond temple floor), Forum Ruins (overgrown columns and walls) and Senate Court (walled courtyard with trees).
• 2 KOTH maps: Emperor Hill (stepped hill in an amphitheatre) and Capitol Hill (hill on a temple floor), 4 spawns each, zones in regions.yml.
• The seats and top walkway are walkable, so spectators can watch from the stands.
• Arenas are 49 to 69 blocks wide. The whole world is 279 x 231 blocks.
• Fair layouts: both spawns sit the same distance from the centre, with cover cutting the line of sight between them.
• Spawn points, centres and spectator spots for every map in duels.yml and coordinates.txt.
• Walk tested: every arena, seat row and hill can be reached on foot, stairs lead level onto each floor and nothing floats.
